Your program starts very early in the morning at around 5 am [Depending on the location of the hotel you booked] with the move from the hotel to the Karume International airport. You will have a coffee at the Airport to one of the restaurants there, The flight will depart at 7:00 am then just after an hour you will be arriving at Selous game reserve ready for full game drive activity. You will have lunch over there and at around 4:30 pm you will be moving back to Zanzibar island.

The Selous Game Reserve, covering 50,000 square kilometers, is amongst the largest protected areas in Africa and is relatively undisturbed by human impact. The property harbors one of the most significant concentrations of elephant, black rhinoceros, cheetah, giraffe, hippopotamus, and crocodile, amongst many other species. The reserve also has an exceptionally high variety of habitats including Miombo woodlands, open grasslands, riverine forests, and swamps, making it a valuable laboratory for ongoing ecological and biological processes.
