Itinerary

Day 1Arusha – Tarangire

Pick up from the hotel drive for a full day game drive in Tarangire with packed lunch then back to Karatu for dinner and overnight at the farm of dreams.

Day 2Karatu Serengeti

Today you will be picked up early morning at 07:30 am after breakfast and with packed lunch. Drive to the Serengeti National Park, you will stop at Naabi Hill for picnic lunch, after proceeding to the Serengeti for a game drive en-route to the lodge. Serengeti National Park is the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. The vast Serengeti plains cover an area of about 15,000 square kilometers and during the months of the GreatMigration, is the habitat of huge numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle. The Serengeti Kopjes, massive boulder islands of granite standing in a sea of grass, provide shelter to a great variety of plants and animals, from the elusive leopard to the tiny dik dik. You will be saved picnic lunch at the bush at 13h30 and toward the park for a full day game drive. Late evening at 18h00 drive back to the Camp at Embalakai.

Day 3, 4 and 5 Serengeti central

Enjoy an early breakfast, followed by Full game drive with picnic lunch. Serengeti is renowned for the vast animals and its beauty, which is the thousands of wildebeest, and zebras that traverse the park year round in search of greener pastures. The Serengeti has so much more to offer though with some of the biggest lion prides, huge herds of elephants countless antelope such as Thompsons & Grants gazelles, giraffes, hyenas, leopards, cheetah and even home to rhino. With so much to see, every day will bring with it new sightings and experiences. Enjoy dinner and overnight at embalakai.

Day 6Serengeti Ngorongoro

Rise early for breakfast then drive to Ngorongoro before you spend a full day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari-goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. Your journey will take you through this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and from in search of pasture, water, or eat prey. Then a transfer back to Arusha.
